I have a question about Cocos2D
yes, please post your question.
Hello. I would ask you about VR and cocos2dx. For current version 3.17.3 VR test commented in cocos2dx test list. I uncommented, but VR test crashed on my device. Do you known something about this? Do we use VR feature in latest cocos2dx 3.17? Also, i’m very interesting VR with real time. Maybe you known something about this. Thank you)!
Hi, I wouldn’t know. I stopped working at cocos2d-x ~3 years ago. Please ask in the cocos2d-x forum: https://cocos2d-x.org
I don’t see an option to export charsets to a regular font format. I want to import a VICE screenshot and then output, say, a TTF of the charset being used. It doesn’t have to be TTF. Just something that a modern day program will recognize so I can use it outside of a Commodore64 (or even then convert to TTF if I have to). Right now, I think the only other thing that will read what vchar64 outputs are those animated LED displays.
@commodorian, please file a bug here: https://github.com/ricardoquesada/vchar64/issues
thanks.
I have a question regarding a recently built UniJoysticle 2, but am hesitant to post a bug just yet. I’ve sourced the boards from PCBWay, the parts from Digikey, and the ESP32 from Amazon (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B082216QGR/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1). The latter is where my question lies. When the board is powered up, either by USB or power from the C64, I do not see the LED’s blink as noted in the docs. I’ve verified polarity on both LEDs (and tested via bench power supply) as well as the other two diodes on the board. I do get red and blue LEDs on the ESP32 (when powered either way) and when viewing the log and can see my Amazon controller getting paired and can see it switch joystick ports. Since there aren’t many components on the board, I’m guessing there is an interface issue between the ESP32 and the main board. Any thoughts? I went with the Amazon ESP32 so I didn’t have to wait weeks for delivery. Thanks in advance.
Hi Bill,
Better to create a gitlab issue for this: https://gitlab.com/ricardoquesada/unijoysticle2/-/issues
And let’s continue the discussion there. Things to add:
– Add link to the ESP32 that you bought
– Firmware version that you are flashing
– Add logs: “make monitor” and paste the output
Thanks.
Done (for those who might find this first). https://gitlab.com/ricardoquesada/unijoysticle2/-/issues/15
